Eye bank is under the department of ophthalmology SMC.
We have 24*7 functional eye bank at Subharti Hospital with facilities of specular microscope and laminar air flow for the assessment of donor cornea.
Subharti Hospital’s eye bank started in 2008 and till now we have transplanted more than 110 corners in corneal blind patients.
