NICU/PICU
Neonatal refers to the first 28 days of life. A Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) & Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU), is an intensive care unit (ICU) specializing in the care of ill or premature neonates. NICU care is provided by one or more neonatologists and staffed by nurses, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, respiratory therapists and dieticians.
NICU of Subharti Hospital is well equipped with all the pediatric instruments like incubators, radiators, pediatric ambu bags, pediatric ventilators, pediatric HFNC and bipap etc along with a team of very efficient specialists.
MICU
MICU is the section of ICU where patients having medical conditions or problems are kept for critical care. Patients having serious medical conditions such as diabetic keotacidosis, hepatic encephalopathy, liver problems, problems related to kidney etc who require 24*7 special care with trained medical practitioners are admitted in this ICU are shifted to normal wards once the patient stabilizes and there is no need of critical care. Our MICU is equipped with oxygen supply at all beds, ventilators, HFNC and all critical care medicines.
RICU
RICU stands for Respiratory Intensive care units which denotes that patients related to severe respiratory problems and distress, tuberculosis patients, patients having any other lung problems etc are kept here for critical care.
SICU
Surgical Intensive Care is a specialty of intensive care related to the care and treatment of patients who are seriously or critically ill elated to surgery i.e. either after surgery or they require surgery. Sometimes the patients is admitted in SICU after surgery to see the progress and to prevent sudden deterioration of health.
